About us

We exist for better days inspired by iconic flavour. It’s been three decades since Michael Allpress set up his first independent coffee cart. He bought a second-hand roaster and embarked on a bold entrepreneurial journey fuelled by passion and the search for great flavour.

 

Our little coffee cart helped introduce specialty coffee to New Zealand and changed the drinking habits of a nation.

 

Today, we roast coffee for the best independent cafés in the world.

 

About the role

We are looking for a motivated person who can work both autonomously and as part of a team, to find opportunities where others might not. This person will consider hospitality and sales as a lifestyle, rather than a job. You will understand that we aim to work with the best operators and be able to turn down opportunities that don’t align with our brand and ethos.

 

The role of sales at Allpress is more than just selling, we are looking for a clever, commercially minded person who will help our customers do a great job by providing advice and support to help them build a successful business. 

 

Role includes use of a company vehicle.

 

Here are a few things that would make you the ideal candidate for us…

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering exceptional customer service

  • High motivated, able to prioritise and handle moving targets

  • Strong communication skills

  • Attention to detail

 

Everyone in the crew plays a part in the sales team, we are all here to do a great job and drink plenty of coffee whilst doing it. We are looking for the right person, not necessarily the person with the most relevant experience.
