About the role

 

This is a truly unique and rewarding role not to mention, good fun. While most people use their weekends to visit the newest and most exciting cafes, this will be your job.

The role will be based from our Manchester Hub with a love of travel a plus as we grow our customer base in the North UK market. This is a pivotal role within our Business Development team, and you will learn about and share our unique coffee offering and wholesale support.

We’re looking for someone with proven communication skills, with a focus on great listening and questioning. You are passionate and driven and will prospect new business, from cafes to groceries, in order to keep an up to date sales pipeline. Part of the role will also be qualifying and converting incoming enquiries in a way that represents Allpress and our culture.

Conscious contact is at the forefront of our customer relationship strategy, so this role will also see you get out and about around London and further afield, to see how our customers and doing and working with them to improve their coffee offering.

We work with a wide variety of businesses, from owner operator to larger multi-site, so the ability to adapt to different scenarios is a must. You will need to build rapport with business owners and work collaboratively with our team to turn these relationships into a long term, meaningful business partnership.

You will be a brand ambassador for Allpress and work alongside our Events and Marketing team on opportunities that generate leads, seeking out businesses that share our passion for quality coffee.

This energetic role will suit you best if you value the importance of collaboration and teamwork in achieving a shared vision, balanced with self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously.

A passion for coffee and the hospitality industry is a must, and experience in sales and account management is beneficial but not essential.

Details:

Hours: 5 days per week around 40 hours per week.

Days: Monday - Friday

Times: Most of the team work between 9-5 but this can be flexible to work around you. 

Probation period: 3 months 

Reporting to: North Regional Manager

Experience: A love for hospitality and the coffee industry is required plus previous experience in sales and account management is beneficial but not essential for the role.
