At Allpress, we are a team of coffee specialists, roasting and serving beautiful coffee in New Zealand, Australia, UK, Japan and Singapore. Our culture is all about building trust with each other and the people that we connect with. We value simplicity and take a planned and considered approach to everything we do.
About the role
Are you someone who loves coffee, enjoys talking to customers, has strong communication skills and is handy with tools.
At Allpress, we are espresso specialists, roasting and serving delicious coffee in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Japan and Singapore. We’re a team of dedicated people who believe in flavour first and care deeply about our customers. We need great people who will bring their ideas, talent and most importantly, their passion to our business.
We have a unique opportunity for a coffee enthusiast to join our Sydney technical team. This role involves servicing and troubleshooting our fleet of espresso machine and grinder equipment and working with our wholesale customers to help them serve the highest quality espresso through their machines and workstations.
Ideally you would have 2-3 years’ experience, but we're also open to someone with experience in a similar trade industry, who enjoys talking to customers and is able to think on their feet and problem solve.
We're looking for a natural curiosity about coffee, a friendly manner, and a willingness to learn, as well as a no fuss approach to working in a team. Excellent time management and a head for admin is also essential.
The technical components of the role will require you to spend some time on the road independently with our local and regional customers, so a full drivers’ license, willingness to travel, and the ability to connect with people are a must. Some weekend hours will be required from time to time. This role is perfect for someone who loves coffee, has strong communication skills and has experience with tools. Experience in a similar role or working in a café would also be an advantage.
