The Global People and Culture Lead is accountable for the development and delivery of the overall people and capability strategy for Allpress as approved by the Asahi Board and to ensure the Allpress has the people and capability necessary to deliver on strategy.

Success will require significant leadership capability to build the foundation for of a large, global team whilst developing a sustainable, high-performance culture.

Lead the delivery of our Global People and Culture Strategy

  • Take ownership of the People and Culture (P&C) Strategy to ensure we have the right culture, talent and capability to grow.

  • Lead key initiatives within the P&C Strategy for 2022:

    • Attract, Retain and Develop our People

    • Reward and Recognise our Talent

    • Enhance our Employee Experience

    • Safety and Wellbeing of our People

Drive Executional Excellence

  • Through personal example and leadership, be an example of the behaviours, attitudes and actions that will ensure the success of Allpress.

  • Lead the People and Culture function within Allpress, including development of strategy and owning the implementation.

  • Bring thought leadership and change management expertise to ensure strategies are forward thinking and change is managed in a collaborative and effective way.

  • Effectively collaborate with Head of HR – ALB and ABNZ

  • Display outstanding influencing skills with regional P&C teams without any formal authority over these teams.

  • Provide coaching and development to other members of the P&C team to enhance overall capability of the function.

  • Ensure collaboration and engagement with P&C leads within each region.

  • Work with and lead the P&C team to identify work programme priorities and develop team plans and goals in line with global P&C plan.

  • Develop and adhere to the allocated P&C budget and forecasts.

  • Ensure individual and team performance is managed and measured appropriately

Ongoing Strategy and Planning

  • Responsible for ongoing development and implementation of P&C strategies, policies and processes that support excellent leadership and provide an environment where staff satisfaction, staff development, and performance management drive achievement of Allpress strategy.

  • Represent the Global P&C function on projects.

  • Actively seek opportunities to apply continuous improvement in all areas of Allpress.

Provide People and Culture Support to Global Teams and Management of External Partners

  • Accountable for ensuring the effective hands-on provisioning of P&C support and initiatives for the Central Team and ensuring execution in the regions via regional P&C Leads and teams, within budget (not limited to):

    • Recruitment

    • Performance Management

    • Remuneration & Benefits

    • Employee Relations

    • Heath, Safety and Wellbeing

    • Change management

    • Organisational Development (including talent management, culture and engagement)

    • Training and Development

    • P&C reporting

  • For clarity, this role is responsible for the hands-on aspects of P&C support, advice and guidance across all of the above points for all people in the Central team (14 FTE) – for example, end-to-end recruitment needs, employment relations, performance management etc.

  • Engage and management of external partners (Bamboo, Lattice) and monitor benefit vs. value.

  • Provide P&C advice and guidance to senior leaders.

  • Overall responsibility for the effective management of escalated employee relations issues and resolving litigation risks.

  • Support leadership with change management and organisational development activities.

  • Provide data, analysis and recommendations against key P&C metrics to CEO

People and Culture Functional Expert

  • Establish credibility as a trusted advisor / coach / influencer to senior leaders to ensure strategic people decisions are made, legal exposure is minimised, and tactical management of people issues is achieved.

  • Coach managers on high quality people management practices and drive building people capability in the business.

  • Provide expert advice on all aspects of HR management across the employee value chain.
