About the role
Based out of our Dalston Roastery, this role offers the chance to foster relationships with our growing customer base to ensure they are set up for success. As part of our Account Management team, you'll immerse yourself in our industry leading coffee offering and wholesale support.
You will be our brand ambassador out on the front line, ensuring our customers receive the very best service from Allpress. Everything you do will be aligned with the growth and retention of our current customer base and building upon our meaningful relationships. A typical day might find you;
Building strong relationships with our customers to ensure they have all the support they need to succeed.
Out on the road connecting with our café customers across the South of the UK.
Preparing and monitoring sales analysis of customer performance and offering insight as well as proactive solutions for commercial success.
Responsible for the onboarding process of new customers.
Working closely with our Business Development, Customer Experience, Training and Technical teams to ensure our customers are set up for success
Collaborate with the Customer Experience and Finance teams to review and analyse aged debt, ensuring timely identification of overdue accounts and implementing appropriate actions in line with company credit control procedures.
About you
You could be a seasoned Barista with impeccable customer service skills looking to progress their coffee career or an Account Manager looking to get into the coffee industry. To nail this role, you’ll hold:
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Impeccable organisational skills, able to prioritise tasks and have good time management capability
Previous experience in Sales or Account management would be beneficial but not essential
Strong admin skills
A valid driver’s license would be beneficial but not essential
Comfortable with regional travel
Strong financial acumen – be good with numbers and know your way around a spreadsheet or two!
A background in coffee would be ideal (working knowledge of machinery, barista skills etc)
Passionate about hospitality and engaged in the community
Details:
Hours: 5 days per week around 40 hours per week
Days: Monday to Friday
Salary: £32,000 - £33,000
Travel: Occasional travel is required
Probation period: 3 months
Reporting to: Head of Account Management UK
Experience: A love for hospitality, experience in coffee is required with an understanding of Account Management or Sales.
