Down a quiet, leafy street of inner Brisbane, you’ll find the team at Lokal + Co. They've been the West End’s go-to specialty coffee café since 2016.
Lokal + Co is one of the very few Nordic-inspired cafés around. A beautiful space inside a renovated Queenslander, the interior is fitted out in a minimalist fashion reminiscent of Scandinavian design, but with a harder look at the menu, you'll find the influences don't stop at the tables and chairs.
Paired up with our signature Allpress Espresso Blend, the kitchen is sending out some incredible café eats. The menu is an impressive collection of café staples with a Nordic twist; plenty of pickling, drying, smoking and salting have gone into the ingredients making up your usual favourites. The team have got you covered from breakfast through to late lunches.
Favourites on the extensive menu include the Avocado bowl, mizuna leaves, zucchini salad and feta, or if after something a bit sweeter – the banana fritters rolled in cinnamon sugar, crème fraiche, papaya lime salad and peanut brittle.
