The thriving Australian Café scene was inspiration enough for Kantaro and Naoya, the creative forces behind METoA Café & Kitchen.
Located in Tokyu Plaza Ginza, the exterior of the building is made up entirely of glass, with the concept being – the world gets interesting from here. And that it does – they are lucky to be surrounded by a great mix of fashion, creative and other food outlets that bring like-minded customers into their café.
You can enjoy the Allpress Kiba Blend through espresso, or a rotating single origin brewed through a filter cone. For the food side of things, there’s something for everyone on the menu - including shared plates if you’re a bit peckish, BBQ chicken wings to nibble on, fresh pasta, homemade pancakes or, our favourite, the Pulled Pork Australian Pizzetta – think pork, gouda cheese, red onion, sprouts, chives topped with an egg, sunny-side up of course, all on a crisp base.
METoA Café & Kitchen is one to put on the list, and truly helping the café culture that we know and love seep into Tokyo’s everyday.
