We are looking for a coffee loving Accountant to join our Finance team at Allpress Espresso.

A bit about the job:
As an accountant, you will work across multiple business units, geographies and companies so having an adaptable and flexible approach to work is a must. You will thrive in a fast paced and dynamic role and be a solid team player who is comfortable working collaboratively but also knows when to have their head down to get stuck in.
This is a full-time permanent position, 40 hours per week. Days of work are Monday to Friday.

You will enjoy using creative thinking in your work, always looking for continuous improvement. You will be highly organised, have an interest in other parts of the business and enjoy a challenge and problem solving.
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent financial qualifications or higher
3 years of relevant accounting experience
Studying towards CA qualification
Key responsibilities:
Preparation of GST and FBT returns
Preparation of payroll (essential)
Stock management, including leading monthly stocktakes and inventory costing
Manage fixed asset register
Lease accounting
Intercompany reconciliations
End of month financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting with financial reporting analysis and commentary
Support annual audit
