Set back from Sydney’s Circular Quay you’ll find a 140-year-old, heritage-listed building that has been restored and given new life with some of the finest dining you’ll find in the city.

The building has served multiple purposes in its 140-year life, but is now being utilised as a four-storey dining experience, with Grana serving as an impressive introduction to the building. On the ground floor of Hinchcliff House, Grana is an all-day bakery and eatery serving our Allpress Espresso Blend for lunch through to late dine-in evenings, with Bar Mammoni on Loftus Lane being your spot for early takeaway breakfasts and quick coffee to go.

An in-house bakery, pasta room and pastry kitchen are all part of the hand-crafted dining experience. With fresh produce being at the heart of the business, all pastries are handmade with flour that has been milled on-site if you're after a sweet side to accompany your morning brew. Grana use less common heritage grain sourced from NSW farmers to mill the flour which also forms the base of the variety of pasta dishes available for lunch and dinner — if you stick around after your morning coffee.

The indoor seating has you sitting among sandstone blocks and stone, beneath wooden beams that support the other dining experiences in Hinchcliff House — Lana and Apollonia. When you’re down by the water in Sydney, be sure to pay this impressive space a visit.
